Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Streaming Service Adapter Restrictions

Note the following Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Streaming Service Adapter restrictions in Oracle Integration.

  • SASL over SSL is the only security policy supported.
  • Transactions are not supported (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Streaming Service does not support transactions).
  • Inbound polling works only with the connectivity agent.
  • Consumption by offset (along with offset, partition) must be provided.
  • When there are no messages to consume from the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Streaming Service, the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Streaming Service Adapter takes one minute to respond before returning with an empty message. This is the expected behavior.
  • Only GZIP compression (the default) is supported. Other forms of compression are not supported.
