3 Install and Configure the Recipe

On your Oracle Integration instance, install the recipe to deploy and configure the integration and associated resources.

  1. On the Oracle Integration Home page, in the Use a recipe/accelerator section, click View all.
  2. Find the recipe you want to install.
  3. Hover over the recipe, then click Install Install icon.

    A message confirms that the recipe was successfully installed, and the recipe card shows INSTALLED.

  4. Hover over the recipe again, and click Configure Configure icon to configure the resources of the recipe.

    The project workspace opens, displaying all the resources of the recipe. Configure the following resources before you activate and run the recipe.

Configure the Oracle CX Sales and B2B Service Connection

  1. In the Connections section, click the connection name.
  2. In the Properties section, enter the Oracle CX Sales and B2B Service host name. For example: CX Sales and B2B Service Host.
  3. In the Security section, enter the following details:
    Field Information to Enter
    Security Policy Select Username Password Token.
    Username Enter the user name of the account created for Oracle Integration on the Oracle CX Sales and B2B Service instance. See Configure Oracle CX Sales and B2B Service.
    Password Enter the password of the account created for Oracle Integration on the Oracle CX Sales and B2B Service instance.
  4. Click Save. If prompted, click Save again.
  5. Click Test to ensure that your connection is successfully configured. In the resulting dialog, click Test again.

    A message confirms if your test is successful.

  6. To return to the project workspace, click Go back Back icon.

Configure the Oracle E-Business Suite Connection

  1. In the Connections section, click the connection name.
  2. In the Properties section, enter the URL of your Oracle E-Business Suite instance.
  3. In the Security section, enter the following details:
    Field Information to Enter
    Username Enter the user name of the account created for Oracle Integration on Oracle E-Business Suite. See Configure Oracle E-Business Suite.
    Password Enter the password of the account created for Oracle Integration on Oracle E-Business Suite.
  4. Click Save. If prompted, click Save again.
  5. Click Test to ensure that your connection is successfully configured.
    A message confirms if your test is successful.
  6. To return to the Configuration Editor, click Go back Back icon.

Configure the Lookup Table

Edit the EBS-CONFIG-LOOKUP lookup table to configure the fields in Oracle E-Business Suite.

  1. In the Lookups section, click the lookup name.
  2. Enter the values for the following keys.
    Key Description
    ToAddress Specify the email address to which the error notification emails are sent. Enter an email address of your choice.
    FromAddress Specify the email address from which the error notification emails are sent. Enter an email address of your choice. See Troubleshoot Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Notification Email Configuration to Ensure Proper Delivery.
    RespApplication Specify the short name of the application. For example, PER.
    SecurityGroup Specify the security group key. For example, STANDARD.
    NLSLanguage Specify the NLS language. For example, AMERICAN.
    Org_Id Specify the organization ID. For example, 204.
    OrderTypeId Specify the organization type ID. For example, 1430.
    AccountCreatedByModule Specify the name of module from which the account was created. For example, ASO_CUSTOMER_DATA.
    OrderResponsibilityName Specify the order responsibility name. For example, ORDER_MGMT_SUPER_USER.
    OrderRespApplication Specify the short name of the order application. For example, ONT.
    OrderApiVersionNumber Specify the API version of Order Management. For example, 1.0.
  3. Click Save. If prompted, click Save again.
  4. To return to the project workspace, click Go back Back icon.
