Install and Configure the Recipe

On your Oracle Integration instance, install the recipe to deploy and configure the integration and associated resources.

Install the recipe on your Oracle Integration instance. See Install a Recipe or Accelerator.

After you've installed the recipe, configure the following resources:

Configure the Oracle SBL-OFS REST Connection

  1. In the Connections section, click the connection name.
  2. Click Test to ensure that your connection is successfully configured. In the resulting dialog, click Test again.

    A message confirms if your test is successful.

  3. Click Save. If prompted, click Save again.
  4. To return to the project workspace, click Go back Back icon.

Configure the Oracle SBL-OFS OFSC Connection

  1. In the Connections section, click the connection name.
  2. In the Properties section, enter the following details:
    Field Information to Enter
    Field Service Cloud API URL Enter the URL of your Oracle Field Service Cloud instance.
    Instance ID Enter the instance ID.
  3. In the Security section, enter the following details:
    Field Information to Enter
    Security policy Select Client Credentials.
    Client Id Enter the client Id.
    Client Secret Enter the client secret.
  4. Click Save. If prompted, click Save again.
  5. Click Test to ensure that your connection is successfully configured. In the resulting dialog, click Test again.

    A message confirms if your test is successful.

  6. To return to the project workspace, click Go back Back icon.

Configure the Oracle SBL-OFS REST OFS Connection

  1. In the Connections section, click the connection name.
  2. In the Properties section, enter the following details:
    Field Information to Enter
    Connection Type Select REST API Base URL.
    Connection URL Enter the URL of your Oracle Field Service Cloud instance. For example: https://<serviceinstanceid>.etadirect.com
  3. In the Security section, enter the following details:
    Field Information to Enter
    Security policy Select Basic Authentication.
    Username Enter the username of the account created for Oracle Integration on theOracle Field Service Cloud instance. See Configure Oracle Field Service Cloud.
    Password Enter the password of the account created for Oracle Integration on the Oracle Field Service Cloud instance.
  4. Click Save. If prompted, click Save again.
  5. Click Test to ensure that your connection is successfully configured. In the resulting dialog, click Test again.

    A message confirms if your test is successful.

  6. To return to the project workspace, click Go back Back icon.

Update Integration Properties

Update the integration properties for the Oracle Siebel OFS Employee Sync Helper integration flow.

  1. In the Integrations section, click Actions Actions icon on the integration flow, then select Update property values.
  2. In the Update property values panel, update the integration properties with appropriate values.
    1. FromAddress: This property holds the value of the email address from which error or failure notifications are sent. You can get the value to enter by navigating to Settings, then Integrations, and then Notifications.
    2. ToAddress: This property holds the value of the email address to which error or failure notifications are sent. Enter an email of your choice.
    3. ParentResouceID: This property holds the root organization English name. Get the value to enter by navigating to Configuration and then Organizations.
    4. BucketResourceLabel: This property holds the label value corresponding to the bucket. Get the value to enter by navigating to Configuration and then Resource Types.
    5. BucketLanguageCode: This property holds the language code of the bucket. For example, if the default language is English then enter en.
    6. TechnicianResourceLabel: This property holds the label corresponding to technician. Get the value to enter by navigating to Configuration and then Resource Types.
  3. Click Submit.

    A message confirms that the integration properties have been updated successfully.
