About This Recipe

This recipe outlines a process that fetches contract details and attachments from Salesforce, sends them to DocuSign for e-signature, and upon completion, updates the status in Salesforce. This status update triggers an event in Salesforce to initiate supplier creation in Coupa and the same supplier ID gets reflected in Salesforce.

Whenever a contract is created in Salesforce, the integration flow of the recipe is triggered and it creates a supplier in Coupa by publishing/sending the document to e-sign in DocuSign. The contract details such as Account Name, Customer Signed By, File Upload, Approver Email, Attachment, and Status will be sent to DocuSign. Subsequently, DocuSign sends the electronically signed documents to the corresponding approver's email.

The recipe contains two integrations. The first integration flow (SFDC REST DocuSign Approval) is an app-driven integration that creates the event in Salesforce which sends the attachments to DocuSign for e-signing. The second integration flow (SFDC REST COUPA CreateContractToProcurement) is an app-driven integration which when triggered creates the supplier in Coupa and reflects the same Coupa supplier ID in Salesforce.
