Observe Resource Activity with Events and Notifications for Autonomous AI Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure

When Oracle Autonomous AI Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure performs operations on resources, it sends events to the Events service. Using the Events service, you can create rules to capture these events and perform actions such as sending you emails using the Notifications service.

Tip: See Notifications Use Case: Emails for Maintenance Events for a short end-to-end example of using the Events and Notifications services in this way.

For a “try it out” demonstration for setting up Autonomous AI Database event notifications through OCI Notification Service, see Lab 11: OCI Notification Service in Oracle Autonomous AI Database Dedicated for Fleet Administrators Workshop.

This combination of Autonomous AI Database events, the Events service and the Notification service provide a very rich set of options for keeping abreast of resource activity because:

Note: All the normal service events, metrics and logs that apply to Oracle Public Cloud also apply to Multicloud deployments. Additionally, for AWS Multicloud deployments, you can use the monitoring and management services in Oracle Database@AWS. See Monitoring services in Oracle Database@AWS for details.
