Oracle Database Features That Are Not Supported in Autonomous AI Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure
Autonomous AI Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure supports most of the features present in Oracle Database Enterprise Edition. However, to ensure the security and the performance of Autonomous AI Database, the following Oracle Database features, options, and packs are not supported in Autonomous AI Database.
- Application containers
- Clusters (groups of tables)
- Common users
- Custom locale objects, including: language, territory, character set, and collation (linguistic sort) are not supported. Custom locale definitions created using Oracle Locale Builder cannot be deployed on Autonomous AI Database. See Customizing Locale Data in Oracle Database 19c or Oracle Database 26ai for more information.
