Autonomous AI Database for Developers Billing and Tenancy Service Limit

You are billed for Autonomous AI Database for Developers usage hourly, on a per instance basis. In addition you are billed for backups.

Autonomous AI Database for Developers databases are billed as follows:

  • Usage for each instance is billed at a flat rate, per hour.
  • An instance cannot be stopped for billing. After an Autonomous AI Database for Developers instance is created, it is billed until the instance is terminated.

  • An Autonomous AI Database for Developers instance may be stopped and started as required, but this does not affect billing.

  • Terminating an Autonomous AI Database for Developers instance stops the billing for the instance.
  • The storage for backups is billed in addition to your hourly Autonomous AI Database for Developers billing. See Oracle Autonomous AI Database Serverless Features Billing for more information.

When you provision an instance you select a workload type based on the workloads you want to run on your database. The pricing is the same for each workload type.

Autonomous AI Database for Developers Service Limit

The number of Autonomous AI Database for Developers instances in a tenancy is limited based on the adb-developer-count service limit. The default limit is 100, and you may request a limit increase for more. See Subscribed Region Limits for more information.
