Configure the Custom Agent (Administrator)

Configure a custom in-database agent in Google Gemini Enterprise application.

1. Sign in to your Google Cloud account and navigate to your Gemini Enterprise application.

2. In the left-hand menu, click Agents.

3. Click Add agent.

4. Click Add in Custom agent via A2A.

5. Under Import agent, paste the agent card JSON.

6. Click Preview Agent Details to review the agent details.

7. Click Next.

8. Enter the client_ID and client_secret generated earlier. See Register an OAuth Client (OAuth) to obtain client_id and client_secret.

9. Click Finish to add the agent.

10. Click to open the your custom agent from the agents list.

11. Click Add User from the User Permissions tab and grant the required user permissions by providing the mandatory fields.

12. Click Save.
