Choose the Oracle AI Database deployment that best fits your vector search application, then follow the corresponding setup guide.

Deployment Choose it when
Autonomous AI Database Serverless You want a managed Oracle Cloud database with no database infrastructure to operate. Start with Always Free or the low-cost fixed-shape Developer option for development and testing.

After you choose a deployment

  1. Complete the setup guide for your deployment.
  2. Continue with Install the SDK in the quickstart.

If you already have another supported Oracle AI Database deployment, ask its administrator for the vector-user credentials, Console URL, and SDK REST endpoint, then continue with the quickstart.
