About Migration Tooling

Learn about the tools used to migrate data and metadata from Oracle Big Data Cloud.

The following tools are used to migrate data:

  • From Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Classic HDFS to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure HDFS:

    hadoop distcp

  • From Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Classic object store to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure object store:

    rclone

The following tool is used to migrate metadata (Hive metadata, Zeppelin notebook definitions, and Ambari Config):
