Stop, Start, and Restart a Node

Administrators can restart master nodes, and stop, start, and restart other nodes.

To stop, start, or restart a node:
  1. Open the service console. See Access the Service Console for Big Data Cloud.
  2. Click the name of the cluster with the node you want to stop, start, or restart.

    An overview page with cluster details is displayed. Nodes are listed under Resources.

  3. From the Menu icon menu for the node, select and confirm the desired action.
