View Adoption Information

The Adoption page helps you assess the user adoption of Oracle Content and Experience Cloud by showing statistics for new users, churned users, length of consistent usage, and a ranked list of the users in your environment, based on their activity level.

Keep these considerations in mind when viewing the data on the Adoption page:

  • The graphs on this page show data for the previous 12 months. If you do not have a complete month of data on your system yet, the graphs will be empty.

  • An active user is a user who has signed in at least once during the time period being measured.

  • The statistics do not include deactivated users (such as users who left the company) or internal users (such as non-visible users created to run automated processes). If a previously deactivated user is re-activated, that user is counted as a returning user.

To display the data for a particular group, enter the group name in the Filter by Group box. To return to the default search, All Groups, remove the group name from the search box and click the button next to it.

The following table describes the Adoption page:

Statistic Description

Active User Base Changes

The bar chart shows the following metrics describing active users:

  • New Users: number of users who were active for the first time during the month.

  • Returning Users: number of users who were active during the month who were not active the previous month, but who were active at some time in the past.

  • Leaving Users (Churn): number of users who were not active during the month, but who were active the previous (contiguous) month.

  • Net Change (line graph superimposed on the bar chart): the number of new users plus returning users, minus leaving users.

Monthly Churn Rate

The line graph indicates the percentage of leaving users over time; that is, the percentage of the total number of users who were not active during the month but who had been active the previous (contiguous) month.

Average Consecutive Months of Use

The line graph indicates, for each month, the average months of consecutive use of all users in the system, prior to and including that month.

Top Users

The table shows a ranked list of the users in your environment, based on their activities. Users receive a ranking value for each column; the overall rank is based on the average of all individual rankings.

The statistics are based on the entire history of the Oracle Content and Experience Cloud instance.
