This image shows the general idea of an egress and an ingress rule applied to an Oracle Data Safe private endpoint and an Autonomous AI Database’s private endpoint. The diagram has one big box named Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Region. Inside that box, is another box named Customer VCN. In this box, there are two circles: Circle 1 is the Oracle Data Safe’s private endpoint. Circle 2 is the Autonomous AI Database’s private endpoint. There are two arrows (each representing an egress and ingress rule) pointting from circle 1 to circle 2. The idea is that the database’s private endpoint IP address needs to be able to receive incoming traffic from Oracle Data Safe’s private endpoint IP address from any port. And, the Oracle Data Safe’s private endpoint IP address from any port needs to be able to send requests to the database’s private endpoint IP address on port 1522.
