Update a Target Database Group

You can modify a target database group as desired.

Update a Target Database Group

1. Under Data Safe, click Target database groups.
2. Click the Name of a target database group. The Target database group details page will display.
3. Click Edit membership to add more members to the group or delete current members from the group. To add more members, do the following:
   1. Select a Condition from the drop-down list.

      Note:

      Target database(s) will be added to the group if they fulfill at least one of the conditions defined below.
      1. If you selected Compartment, do the following:
         1. Select a Compartment from the drop-down list.
         2. Check Include child compartments if desired.
      2. If you selected Tag, do the following:
         1. Select a Tag Namespace from the drop-down list.
         2. Select a Tag Key from the drop-down list.
         3. Enter a Tag Value.
      3. If you selected Target database, do the following:
         1. Select one or more targets in the Target databases field.

            Note:

            If the group uses target database OCIDs in its matching criteria and any of those targets are not in Active or Needs Attention state, you must remove those OCIDs from the criteria before saving the update.
         2. Click Change compartment if you want to add targets from another compartment.
   2. Click Add more members to add additional members to the group.
   3. Click Save.
4. Click Move resource to move the resource from the current compartment to a selected compartment.
5. Click Add tags to add additional tags.
6. Click Delete to delete the target database group.
