Oracle Data Safe is a cloud native tool that enables you to achieve data privacy and data compliance for your Oracle Databases. In addition, Data Safe monitors and assesses your database configurations, user accounts, and security controls to assist you in securing your databases. To use Data Safe, please ensure that it is enabled within your region as Data Safe must be enabled for each region separately. Proper Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity and Access Management (IAM) permissions must also be granted to the appropriate users to allow use of Data Safe. Permissions can be granted for use of all of Data Safe's features, or only a specific subset. Only databases that are properly enabled for use with and registered with Oracle Data Safe can be acted upon by Data Safe. The architecture is comprised of the Data Safe service in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, the Oracle Data Safe backend database, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity and Access Management (IAM), and target databases.
