Deploy Security Policies

Both predefined and custom security policies need to be deployed in order for the associated audit policies to apply to the target databases.

1. Under Data Safe - Database Security, select Security policies.
2. Select the Oracle predefined security policies or Custom security policies tab.
3. Select the name the policy to deploy.
4. Select Deploy.
5. Select if you would like to deploy the security policy to either a target database group or to a target database.

   Change the compartment to filter the database selection if necessary.

   If you want to deploy the security policy to multiple target database groups, multiple individual databases, or both groups and individual database, then you will have to repeat this deployment step for each selection.

6. Select Deploy.

   Do not cancel out of the deployment panel until deployment is complete.
