Editing an assessment

You can modify some of the settings in an assessment resource configuration in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Database Migration.

In the list of migrations on the Assessment page, select the name of the assessment you want to edit.

From the Actions menu, select Edit next to any of the following modifiable settings:

1. Select the name, description, database type of the assessment.
2. In Source Database, you can choose a different database compartment or a connection. The status of the connection validation is displayed along with the Database name, Database version, Database size.
3. In the Edit Target Database dialog, you can choose a different target database:
   • Select the Connect to the database option if you have already created a connection.
   • Select the Compartment.
   • Select the Database connection
   or
   • Select the Select the target database type option if you do not have a target database or if Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Console cannot connect to the database.
   • Select the Database type.
4. In the Migration options, perform the following configurations:
   • Select the Network speed.
   • Select the Acceptable downtime
   • Select the Data size for migration
   • Select the DDL changes expected as Yes or No
5. Click Update.
