Viewing migration details for assessments

On the Migrations page of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Database Migration service console, you can view a list of your migrations for assessments, which includes the following additional information:

  • In the Progress tab,

    Select Start to start the migration. In the Start migration screen, the following option is displayed:

    Enable the Require user input after a phase before proceeding option.

    Select the Phase to pause after option and click Start.

    You can view the list of phases along with the status and duration. From the action menu (three dots), you can select View details.

    Note:

    The migrations created from Assessment will have that additional state as Assessed having the states: In progress and Accepted

    . This state is displayed beside the name of the migration.
  • In the Migration history tab, view the migration job details such as Name, State, Status details, Created.
  • The Migration History tab is a feature available when a migration is created from an Assessment. This tab provides a comprehensive record of all migration executions, allowing you to track the history and status of their migrations.

    The following options are available:
    • View Previous Migration Executions: You can access previous migration executions to review their status and details
    • Download Log Files: You can download the log files associated with each migration execution to review the output and diagnose any issues.
    • Access Data Pump Logs for Oracle Flows: For Oracle migrations, you can access the job details and navigate to the Export initial load or Import initial load completed phases. Click on the contextual menu (3 dots) to access and download the available Data Pump logs.
    From the action menu (three dots), you can view the job details. See Viewing job details.

    From Actions, you can perform actions such as Resume, Abort, Download database migration log, and Delete.

  • In the Monitoring tab, measure the health of a migration. You can also Create notification. See Monitoring job status .

Select the above tabs from the Migrations page to view its details.
