Supported Methods

You can manage Exadata Cloud Service using standard HTTP method requests, as summarized in the following table.

Method	Description
DELETE	Delete an Exadata Cloud Service database deployment or snapshot master.
GET	Retrieve information about Exadata Cloud Service resources. For example, retrieve information about all database deployments, a specific database, or an operation affecting a database deployment or a compute node.
POST	Perform operations on Exadata Cloud Service resources. For example, create an Exadata Cloud Service database deployment, start a backup operation, or restart a compute node.
PUT	Perform operations on Exadata Cloud Service resources. For example, set IO resource management shares or apply a patch.
