Before you begin with OCI GoldenGate on Multicloud
OCI GoldenGate is the same service across OCI and multicloud environments. Complete the cloud-specific readiness and provisioning tasks here, then use the shared OCI GoldenGate documentation for supported connections and runtime configuration, including Extract, Distribution Path, Replicat, and Data Transforms.
Before you begin: Confirm that your target partner region and availability zone support both Oracle AI Database and OCI GoldenGate. Review service limits before you create resources.
Choose your cloud
Microsoft Azure
Prepare the VNet and delegated subnet, create Resource and Network Anchors in Azure, then create the deployment in the OCI Console.
Google Cloud
Prepare the VPC, ODB Network, and Client ODB Subnet, then create GoldenGate resources from Google Cloud Console, CLI, or API.
Where you perform each task
| Task | Partner cloud console and API | OCI Console |
|---|---|---|
| Link subscription and prepare cloud network | Yes | Review linked resources where available |
| Create OCI GoldenGate deployment and connections | Yes, for Google Cloud. View resources where available | Yes |
| Create Extract, Distribution Path, and Replicat | No | Yes, in the deployment console |
| Monitor resources | Partner-cloud resource visibility | GoldenGate deployment and process monitoring |
Continue in the shared OCI GoldenGate workflow
After you provision the cloud-specific GoldenGate resources, use the existing OCI GoldenGate documentation for supported connections and workload configuration. This keeps compatibility guidance and replication procedures in one canonical location.
