Overview
This recipe demonstrates how to use Oracle Integration to synchronize email accounts between Okta and Oracle HCM Cloud, where Okta is the master.
The integration assumes that Okta is acting as a broker for an email service. Initial workers are created within Oracle HCM Cloud and loaded into Okta. Once created in Okta, an email service creates a new email, and updates the value within Okta, through an Okta connector. Oracle Integration retrieves the updated email address and then makes an update call into Oracle HCM Cloud.
To use the recipe, you must install the recipe package and configure the connections within the package. Subsequently, you can activate and run the integration flow of the package manually or specify an execution schedule for it. When triggered, this integration flow synchronizes email accounts between Okta and Oracle HCM Cloud.
