Overview

This is a bidirectional recipe. It creates a corresponding user record in Zendesk when a contact record is created in Salesforce. In addition, it creates corresponding contact records in Salesforce for Zendesk user records.

To use this recipe, you must install the recipe package and configure the connections and other resources within the package.

When a contact is created in Salesforce, the app-driven integration flow (Oracle Salesforce Zendesk Contact2User Sync) of the recipe is triggered, and it creates a corresponding user record in Zendesk. Further, you can run the scheduled integration flow (Oracle Zendesk Salesforce User2Contact Sync) of the package manually or specify an execution schedule for it. When triggered, this integration flow reads the user records from the Zendesk instance and, in turn, creates corresponding contact records in your Salesforce instance. Basic data, such as name, email, phone, user ID, and so on, are synchronized between the two platforms.
