Integration Insight Roles and Personas

Permissions in Integration Insight are defined by Oracle Integration roles. The role(s) that you are assigned define your persona in Integration Insight.

The following table lists predefined roles available in Oracle Integration, and the Integration Insight tasks that personas associated with those roles can perform.

Oracle Integration Role Personas and Permissions in Integration Insight

ServiceAdministrator

This Oracle Integration role maps to the Integration Insight persona Insight Administrator.

This is a super user who manages Integration Insight. This user can purge Integration Insight model data and has all the privileges of the other roles to view, create, manage, edit, and delete all the models and dashboards.

ServiceDeveloper

This Oracle Integration role includes the Integration Insight personas Business User/Analyst and Integration Architect.

This user can view, create, manage, edit, and delete Integration Insight models.

The Business User/Analyst understands the end-to-end business process implemented in Oracle Integration and defines business milestones and metrics in an Integration Insight model.

The Integration Architect defines the mapping of the milestones to the appropriate location in the business process implementation and the extraction criteria of Integration Insight indicators.

This user does not have access to dashboards through the Integration Insight Consoles page.

ServiceUser

This Oracle Integration role maps to the Integration Insight persona Business Executive.

This user understands how the business works and wants to gain insight into business process status and activity in real time. This user can view, create, manage, edit, and delete Integration Insight dashboards.

This user does not have access to models through the Integration Insight Models page.
