This diagram shows the flow of creating a REST Connector API. The first block shows the initial creation of the REST Connector API.

The next block shows that design time authentication credentials are passed to the Descriptor instance if a Descriptor URL has been provided.

After a connection to the Descriptor instance is made, the discovery of the resources occurs.

Optionally, in the next block, rules may be configured for the connector. If a descriptor is used, resources are selected in the following block.

The next block shows security policies are configured and, finally, the connector endpoints are tested.
