Typical Process to Manage Security for Oracle NoSQL Database Cloud Service
Learn about the typical sequence of tasks that a Oracle NoSQL Database Cloud Service administrator performs to implement a security model in an organization.
As a Oracle NoSQL Database Cloud Service administrator, you must execute the following tasks to
implement a security model in your organization:
- Define users, groups, and one or more compartments to hold the NoSQL tables for your organization. See Setting Up Users, Groups, and Policies
- Create one or more policies, each written in the policy language. See Policy Reference
- Place users into the appropriate groups depending on the compartments and resources they need to access. See Setting Up Users, Groups, and Policies and Typical Policy Statements to Manage Tables
- Provide a one-time password to the users to access the Console and work with the compartments.
After you complete the above steps, the users can access the Console, change their one-time password, and work with specific cloud resources, as stated in the policies.
