Quick Start

Using simple steps you can set up your environment and use the REST API to create your first Oracle NoSQL Database Cloud Service table.

Oracle Cloud is one of the few cloud providers that can offer a complete set of cloud services to meet all your enterprise computing needs. To learn more about Oracle Cloud, see Getting Started with Oracle Cloud.

Task 1: Obtain Account Information

From your account administrator, obtain the appropriate account credentials to enable you to access the Oracle NoSQL Database Cloud Service. Specifically, you will need:
  • User name and password

  • Identity domain name

Note:

You can find the account credentials from the account creation e-mail from Oracle. If you do not have this information, contact your service administrator.

Task 2: Understand the Format of REST API Request and Response

You are now ready to start interacting with the Oracle NoSQL Database Cloud Service REST API. After you set up your REST client, you can send a request to ensure that your connection works. If the request is successful, then you should receive a 200 response. To know more about Request signatures, see Request Signatures.
