Oracle Cloud Infrastructure GoldenGate is a fully managed, native cloud service that moves data in real-time, at scale. OCI GoldenGate processes data as it moves from one or more data management systems to target databases. Users can run, design, and monitor data replication tasks without managing any compute environments via internet gateways.
GoldenGate contains in virtual cloud network inside Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Region. while Oracle Database System and bastion contained in another VCN within same OCI region
It contains the network connectivity details for data source or target for OCI GoldenGate. These connections support database and non-database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, and other databases.
By default, all network connectivity to OCI GoldenGate is encrypted over SSL. User can also create private endpoints (PE) when needed to access private resources. These endpoints connect to on-premises network through dynamic routing gateways to provide site-to-site VPN access. They also connect to Autonomous data warehouse (ADW) via private endpoints through various ports.
