Create a Decision Application

To create a decision application:
  1. On the Designer home page (All Applications), click the Create button on top right of the page.
  2. In the Create application pane, click Create decision application.
  3. In the Create decision application pane, enter details for the following fields:
    1. Title: Enter a name for the decision application. Give a meaningful name so that users get an idea of what the application is about and why they may want to use it.
    2. Identifier Name: This is the unique identifier of the decision application. By default, this value is same as the title. But you can edit it if required.
    3. Version Tag: The alphanumeric tag that is used to identify this version after activation. The default tag is 1.0.
    4. Description: Enter a suitable description for the decision application.
  4. Click Create.

    A confirmation dialog lets you know the decision application has been created.

    The newly created decision application is listed under the All Applications and the Decision Applications pages.

Open the decision application by clicking the Open now link in the confirmation dialog. Alternatively, select and open the decision application from the All Applications or Decision Applications page. By default, it opens in the Decision editor canvas where you can model the decision:
