About Notification Email and Templates

You can configure Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Process Automation to send a notification email to the task assignee when an event such as assignment, approval, escalation, reminder, and reassignment occurs. A notification email contains outcomes defined for a task, such as Approve or Reject. Clicking on the outcomes will take the assignees to Workspace where they can complete their assigned tasks.

You can also configure and use customized notification emails for human task activities. You have an option to create customized email templates that include the following information:

• Payload

• Task

• Links to perform an action on a task

• Task comments

About Actionable Emails

You can configure a notification email with actions that contains outcomes defined for a task, such as Approve or Reject. Clicking on these outcomes takes you to Workspace where you can complete the assigned task. In addition, you can add comments and attachments to the task.

About Default Email Templates

If you enable email notification for a task, you have the option of selecting the default email template for your use. The default email template contains outcomes defined for a task, such as Approve or Reject. You can also add comments and attachments to the task.
