Configure Recipe Actions

An action occurs when the recipe trigger conditions have been met. You create one or more actions in the Actions section of the editor.

  1. Click the Actions section of the editor.
  2. Select a cloud application for the action.
    1. If necessary, authorize your application.
    A list of the cloud application data for the action is shown in the Cloud App Data section of the editor.
  3. Select the action from the Actions menu.
    Once you select an action, the editor displays a form that corresponds to the cloud application’s data fields, and the Cloud App Data section is populated with the data that you can use in the editor form fields.
  4. You can type your entries in the Recipe Editor form or drag and drop the corresponding data from the Cloud App Data section.
    1. For example, if you are using an email application, type an email address in the required To field.
    2. If you want the email message to contain specific information, you can drag and drop an item such as a file name from the Cloud App Data section into the email message field.
    3. You can also combine drag and drop with typing to complete the recipe field.
  5. Click Done when you are finished.
