Creating a Service Instance
On Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Classic, you can create an Oracle SOA Cloud Service instance using the REST API.
Note:
-
Before creating an Oracle SOA Cloud Service instance, be sure to complete the prerequisite tasks as described in Prerequisites.
-
If creating a service instance in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, see also Prerequisites for Oracle Platform Services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure documentation.
-
On accounts that are integrated with Oracle Identity Cloud Service, the identity domain ID is the Identity Cloud Service tenant name. This tenant name begins with the characters
idcs-
followed by a string of number and letters. -
The cURL command examples use the URL structure
https://rest_server_url/resource_path
, whererest_server_url
is the REST server to contact for your identity domain. See Send Requests.
To create an Oracle SOA Cloud Service instance using the REST API, see Provision a New Service Instance.
