1 What's New in Release 3.5.0
Here’s an overview of new features and enhancements added to Oracle Visual Builder Add-in for Excel in Release 3.5.0. Take note also of some limitations when using the add-in.
New and Changed Features
- Support for NetSuite SuiteTalk REST web services. See NetSuite SuiteTalk REST Web Services.
- Support for uploading parent and child changes in a Form-over-Table layout in the same payload for Oracle business object REST API services. See Upload Parent and Child Changes in the Same Payload.
- Improvements to the New Layout Setup wizard:
- Ability to create a set of dependent layouts during layout creation. See Create a Set of Dependent Layouts.
- Ability to add descriptive flexfields (DFFs) from a child polymorphic business object to the parent layout during layout creation. See Create a Layout Using Descriptive Flexfields.
- Ability to disable batch processing for Oracle business object REST API services when uploading data. When batch processing is turned off, the add-in sends each changed row from a table in a separate request during upload. - Support for using dynamic parameters on lists of values you create on a row finder variable. Configure a Filter with a Dynamic Parameter.

- Ability to choose which business objects to include in a catalog for services with more than five business objects during catalog creation. Import a Business Object Catalog.

- Workbooks created or modified with version 3.5 are generally considered to be incompatible with prior versions of the add-in.
