Choose a Set of Fields for a Layout
When you create either a Table or Form-Over-Table layout, you are prompted to choose an option for the layout’s initial set of fields. You can choose all fields for the layout or instead show only a subset of the available fields.
This option applies to the primary layout and to any dependent layouts when you create a set of dependent layouts. It does not apply to flexfields or other polymorphic business objects.
Here are the options in the New Layout Setup wizard:

| All fields (except audit fields) | All eligible fields except audit fields. Audit fields are fields, like "created by" and "last update date", that are frequently included by a given framework. The add-in maintains an internal list of audit fields for each known REST framework.

| All fields | All eligible fields for the selected business object. |
| Only required fields | Only eligible fields required for create or update.

| Compact view | "Compact view" is only available for ADF REST catalogs. If the business object for the primary layout has a compact view defined, this option is shown.

Note: This feature has no impact on layouts created with prior versions of the add-in.
