description of layout in layout editor

This screenshot shows a layout in the editor. In this image, a form template is applied to the layout. The header above center pane is highlighted and shows the name of the template applied to the form and the fields defined in the form template.

Below the header is a list of the additional fields that you selected to be displayed in the layout.

The Properties pane on the right displays the form properties:

• ID. The ID of the form layout.
• Name. The display name of the layout.
• Description. A description of the layout.
• Form Template. The name of the selected form template. You can use the Select link above the form name to open the Use Layout Template window where you can select a different form or choose to use no template. A Go To Template link below the form name will open the template in the editor.
