This screenshot displays the Create Workspace dialog box you see when you clone a Git repository in the project. The dialog
box contains the following properties that you need to define to create the workspace.
- Name - The name of the new workspace
- Git Repository - Use the dropdown list to select the Git repository for the workspace.
- Branch - Use the dropdown list to select the branch you want to clone in your workspace.
- New branch from selected - Select this to create a new branch of the branch selected in the Branch dropdown list. If you select
this option, a text field appears where you can specify a name for the new branch.
- Development Environment - Use the dropdown list to select the development environment for the workspace.
- Sandbox - Use the dropdown list to select
a sandbox to use in the workspace. This is optional because you only need to select
a sandbox if you are making changes to the application extension that use a data
model different than the published one.
The dialog box has a Create Workspace button that is enabled when all the required options are specified.
