WebCenter Content Exporting Search Results

This document describes how to manage and export search results in Oracle WebCenter Content.

Overview

WebCenter Content (on Marketplace) now supports exporting of search results with a new component called ExportSearchResults. Once enabled, this component adds an ‘Export Search Results’ menu item under ‘Search Actions’ in the native UI, allowing users to export search results in CSV format, which is currently the only supported format.”

Manage Export Search Results Component

The ExportSearchResults component is disabled by default.

Steps to enable:

  1. Log into /cs ui as user with admin role
  2. Navigate to Administration, Admin Server, Component Manager
  3. Click the advanced component manager link on the page
  4. Check the Show System Components checkbox
  5. In the Disabled Components list, select the ExportSearchResults component, and click Enable
  6. Restart all UCM Servers

About Component Configuration

The ExportSearchResults component provides the following configuration settings.

To set or modify any of the configuration settings:

  1. Log into /cs ui as user with admin role
  2. Navigate to Administration, Admin Server, General Configuration
  3. Add or modify the appropriate configuration setting(s) in the Additional Configuration Variables section
  4. Restart all UCM Servers
