| OCI | Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. |
| On-Premise | Refers to the source environment where the WebLogic domain currently resides. |
| OWM | OCI WebLogic Migration Tool; the tool used to migrate on-premises WebLogic domains to OCI. |
| AdminServer host | The VM hosting the AdminServer of the on-premises WebLogic domain. |
| Custom directories | File system paths referenced by the WebLogic domain configuration that are outside the standard three categories (Domain Home, Middleware Home, Java Home). Example: External trust stores or keystores located outside the Domain or Middleware directories. |
| OS | Operating System installed on a host, e.g., Oracle Linux. |
| Archives | Compressed tarball files created from the WebLogic domain’s Domain Home, Middleware Home, and Java Home directories for migration to OCI. |
