Migrating Account Reconciliation Snapshots Using Navigator

Use the Navigator in Account Reconciliation to migrate a snapshot of your environment.

To migrate a snapshot of your environment:

  1. Export a snapshot file to take a full picture of the instance. A snapshot is a database copy of all the data in the Financial Close Management category.

See Exporting a Snapshot from the Source Environment.

  2. Download the snapshot file to a local network drive.

See Downloading the Snapshot File to a Local Drive.

  3. Upload the snapshot file to the new environment.

See Uploading the Snapshot File to the New Environment.

  4. Import the snapshot file to the new environment.

See Importing the Snapshot File to the New Environment.

Note:

Account Reconciliation does not support migration of a full snapshot from the latest service version to an earlier service version (for example, when moving snapshots between test and production pods during the window when test is upgraded before production). Migration between the same versions is supported. However, you can individually migrate one or more artifacts to an earlier service version.

Note:

You can also use the Migration option to migrate Data Management artifacts or Groups and Members. It is a best practice to select all three options.
