Defining the Journal Columns

Service Administrators and users with the Match Types - Manage application role can define journal columns.

Here is an example of required columns needed in an Oracle ERP system in order to import journal entries into that Oracle ERP system. In Transaction Matching, you create these columns.

To create journal columns in Transaction Matching:

1. From Home, select Applications, and then Match Types.
2. Click the Journal Columns tab.
3. Click New to create a new journal column.
4. Enter a Name and then click Save.

   You can also edit this information by clicking the Actions and selecting Edit.
