Configuring Timeout and Purge of Balance Load Data

Use the Balance Load configuration setting to configure balance load timeout and purging of information related to balance loads. Purging is done as part of system maintenance.

The information that is purged includes the balance load job, logs for these jobs, and unmapped accounts in these loads.

To configure timeout and purge of balance load data:

1. From Home, click Application, then click Configuration, and then select the Settings tab.
2. In System Settings, select Balance Load.
3. In Number of hours to wait for balance load rule to finish, enter the number of hours the system waits for a balance load job to complete.
4. Select Purge information about balance loads to automatically purge information related to balance loads.
5. In Number of days to retain information based on Period end date, enter the number of days. If period’s end date is older than the number of days specified, then balance load information for these periods is purged. The default value is 730.

   This option is selected by default for new applications.
