Before you Begin
This 10-minute tutorial shows you how to create a deck and add cards to the deck.
Background
You organize Key Performance Indicator (KPI) cards with similar content using a deck. Your deck can contain up to eight cards. You can sort the cards in the deck using filters and timeframes.What Do You Need?
- Access to Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse
- Access to the My Span of Control KPI or to another KPI with supporting data
Create a Deck
- Sign in to Oracle Cloud to open Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse.
- On the Home page, click the Navigator
, and then select Decks.
- On the Decks page, click Actions
, and then select Add Deck.
- In Add Deck, enter a Deck Name such as
My HR Deck
.
Add Cards
- In the empty card, click Add Card
.
- In Add a Card, enter
My
to search for your My Span of Control KPI or select an existing KPI. - Select the KPI. In Preview, select the data to use to preview the card. If using the My Span of Control KPI, select By Job Family from the Preview field.

Customize the Card
This section shows customizing the card using the My Span Control KPI card. You could perform these steps with another KPI card, however, you must have the KPI linked to its supporting data to see the results. Use the data and options related to your KPI.
- Select the card, click Actions
, and then select Customize.
- In Time, click Select time filter
, click Year, and then click Last N. In Last N, click Last 3, and then click Apply.
- In Target Value, select Variance from Target, and then look at the results in Preview.
The red bar at the topic of the KPI card indicates critical status according to the organization's target.

- Click the Navigator
, and select Home.
Your My Span of Control KPI appears on the Home page as a favorite.
