Establish Environment Implementation Sequence

As individual environment administrators, start by implementing your development or test environment and then implement the production environment.

This image shows the Fusion Analytics environment implementation sequence.

The development or test environment is a controlled environment where developers can create, test, and modify the data models, extensions, and customizations before moving them into the production environment or other additional test environments, if any. This helps to identify and fix any issues before they impact the live system.

Determine the resources for performing the tasks illustrated in the implementation journey and to administer the development or test environment, optional additional test environment, and the production environment. For migrations, develop a coordination plan for the administrators of the different environments. Utilize an additional test environment, if necessary, for quality assurance and testing. See Implementation Cheatsheet.

Use the checklist to confirm that the action items are planned for. See Establish Environment Implementation Sequence Checklist.
