6 Data Augmentation

Overview

Entities are key concepts or building blocks for implementing business processes in any of the Fusion Applications. The application extracts data for key entities and makes the data available in analysis-friendly data models (tables). Internally, the application keeps track of the tables that capture entity details, as well as tables with references for entities. When the data augmentation framework adds attributes that aren't part of the predefined data model, users see the new information as new attributes associated with the relevant tables.
