D Functional Areas Available for Frequent Data Refresh

Review the functional areas that are currently available for frequent data refresh to ensure that you select the appropriate tables and the frequent data refresh process works as expected.

General recommendations

Review these recommendations for frequent data refresh of tables in Fusion ERP Analytics:
  • Frequent data refresh is designed to bring in transaction information. Aggregate tables and snapshots aren't part of the Frequent Data Refresh process. Changes to configurations and setups aren't part of this process by default, they are optional and you can choose to add them individually to the table level frequent data refresh based on the reporting requirements. You must review the reporting requirements and understand the objects that are to be refreshed more frequently. Refer to the documentation on relationship diagrams to understand the logical relationship between a fact and the different dimension tables. See Relationship Diagrams.
  • Configurations and setups like Segments, Ledgers, and Business Units aren't refreshed as part of the Frequent Data Refresh process by default but are refreshed as part of the Daily Incremental Refresh process. You must use the Daily Incremental Refresh process for such configurations and setups. Use the Frequent Data Refresh process for bringing in transactional data.
  • Dimensional data isn't included in the Frequent Data Refresh process by default because it is considered non-transactional data. You can add the available dimension tables as well as data augmentation tables in the frequent refresh tables based on the reporting requirements. See Schedule Frequent Refreshes of Warehouse Tables (Preview).
  • GL Code Combinations aren't supported for frequent data refresh. The concatenated segments for the New GL Code Combinations aren't refreshed as part of the Frequent Data Refresh process but they are refreshed only during the daily incremental refresh.

Supported and Unsupported Functional Areas

The functional areas available for frequent data refresh are:
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • AR Unaccounted Transactions
The functional areas not supported for frequent data refresh are:
  • AP and AR Aging
  • GL Account Analysis
  • Spend Classification
  • Procurement Spend
  • Project Time and Labor

You can select additional tables related to other functional areas such as Assets, Purchasing, and Projects using the Frequent Refresh Tables capability. See Schedule Frequent Refreshes of Warehouse Tables (Preview).

  • Unposted journals aren't included in the Frequent Data Refresh process. If you post an unposted journal, then it is reflected in the Frequent Data Refresh process, but any other updates or deletes won't be reflected in the Frequent Data Refresh process. It is updated in the daily incremental refresh.

Accounts Payable

  • Deletes in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications aren't supported for frequent data refresh. If Payables invoices are deleted, then the Frequent Data Refresh process won't reflect the delete. This is reflected only during the daily incremental refresh.
  • Bank Account changes aren't supported for frequent data refresh and are brought as part of the daily incremental loads.

Accounts Receivable (Including AR Unaccounted Transactions)

Employee Expenses
