Special Considerations

A new functional area named Learning Offerings and Hours (referred to as V2) has been introduced for the Learning module. This will coexist with the existing functional area, Learning Management (referred to as V1).

Since Learning V2 depends on Learning V1, it is important to follow the correct sequence to ensure the Learning V2 warehouse tables are fully populated.

The following steps should be taken in the same order to ensure proper data loads into the new Learning V2 tables.

For existing customers who have already enabled and activated Learning V1, enable Learning V2 first followed by resetting Learning V1.

For customers who have not previously enabled Learning V1, enable Learning V2 first followed by enabling Learning V1.

When building reports using the subject area, always include at least one metric from a transactions fact folder to generate meaningful results.

Do not mix eLearning attributes or facts with Specialization, Course, or Offering attributes, as there is no underlying data association between them.
