Overview

A dashboard is a top-level object containing multiple business metrics. Each dashboard typically contains as many as 8 composite visualizations. These present an aggregated value for the business metric, a supplemental visualization with drill down capability to Data Visualization content.

In release 25R3, prebuilt dashboards are seen both as dashboards found in the dashboard library, and workbooks found in the Oracle Analytics Cloud catalog. The Oracle Analytics Cloud catalog is accessed from the Projects link. All factory dashboards are migrated to Oracle Analytics Cloud workbooks, and these can be found in the Overview Dashboards folder, located within the parent application folder.

Oracle Analytics Cloud workbooks are the strategic direction for representing prebuilt dashboards, and decks will be deprecated in a future release. A utility to migrate custom decks to Oracle Analytics Cloud workbooks is expected in a future release as well, prior to ultimately deprecating decks.

Overview Dashboards

An overview dashboard is a top-level object containing multiple business metrics.

Each dashboard typically contains as many as 8 composite visualizations. These present an aggregated value for the business metric, a supplemental visualization and with a drill down capability to Data Visualization content found in detail dashboards.

To access prebuilt data visualizations, go to Shared Folders, click Oracle, click Fusion ERP, and then click Overview Dashboards. All prebuilt decks are migrated to workbooks in Oracle Analytics Cloud, and you can find these in the Detail Dashboards folder, located within the parent application folder.

Detail Dashboards

Detail dashboards typically contain more in-depth analyses along with filters focused on a specific topic. These workbooks can be launched directly or starting from an overview dashboard.

To access prebuilt data visualizations, go to Shared Folders, click Oracle, click Fusion ERP, and then click Detail Dashboards.
