7 Customize Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence

You can customize the semantic model to extend it for your business requirements.

As a user with any Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence administrator role, you can customize your semantic model in the development instance or test instance, and add security configurations to secure the subject areas and data with prebuilt and custom duty and data type of application roles. As a service administrator or modeler administrator, you can publish semantic models and make them available in Workbooks. Customization enables you to make the data that you moved into the analytics warehouse more useful for reporting. See Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence Administrator Permissions.

In the production environment, direct modifications to the Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence semantic model, including security configurations, aren’t permitted. You can modify the Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence semantic model in the development instance or test instance, and then migrate to the production environment using bundles.
