Synchronize Customization Sandbox with Main Sandbox

If your sandbox contains conflicts with the main sandbox, and your sandbox was created before a merge in the main sandbox, you must resolve these conflicts before you apply and merge your changes into the main sandbox.

Validate your sandbox to identify and resolve errors, and then synchronize your sandbox with the main sandbox's latest changes to prevent inadvertently overwriting another developer's work.

This practice is also useful if another developer merged a new object into Main and you need to include that new object in your own customization.

1. Sign in to your service.
2. In Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence Console, click Semantic Model Extensions under Application Administration.
3. On the Semantic Model Extensions page, click User Extensions.
4. On the Semantic Model Extensions page, under Customizations Sandbox, hover over an applicable sandbox to view Actions, click Prepare Sandbox, and then click Sync With Main Sandbox.
   To enable Sync With Main Sandbox, you must first run Validate Sandbox and resolve any errors detected.
5. On the Synchronize Conflicts page, for each conflict, choose a resolution action to retain, delete, keep the sandbox version, or synchronize with the version in Main.
6. After you select all the desired resolution actions, click Sync with Main to update your Sandbox with your choices.
7. If you need to start over after an incorrect choice, select the Reset Resolutions option to restore all the resolution actions to their default settings.
