Asset Location Dimension Configuration

Asset Location in Oracle E-Business Suite Fixed Assets is defined using a Key Flexfield (KFF). Because each implementation can configure the KFF differently, the order and meaning of the location segments may vary between source systems.

For example:

To ensure that asset location data is loaded correctly into Oracle E-Business Suite Data Intelligence, you must define how the EBS KFF segments map to the warehouse asset location dimension.

The inline dataset FILE_FA_LOCATION_SEGMENT_CONFIG_ORA is used to configure this mapping.
