Currency Processing

For every monetary transaction extracted from the source system, the pipeline process loads the following information into the target warehouse:

• Document currency amount

• Local currency amount

• Exchange rates required to convert the document currency amount into each of the three configured global currencies

For Fact tables, the warehouse stores:

• Document Currency Amount

• Local Currency Amount

• Three Global Currency Amount columns (for example, GLOBAL_AMOUNT1, GLOBAL_AMOUNT2, and GLOBAL_AMOUNT3)

• The corresponding exchange rate columns for each global currency
